Los Angeles Session guitarist Ricky Z. has played/recorded with a myriad of artists such as Steven Tyler, Josh Groban, Paul Anka, BTS, J-Peg Mafia, and John Fogerty to name a few.

His sophomore effort, Back to the Truth, features appearances by Anders Osborne and Teresa James. The recording expresses the many influences (Americana, Blues, Rock ’n Roll, Cajun, Jazz) that have forged together to create Ricky’s eclectic, artistic personality. Along with Osborne and James, Ricky is joined by drummer Chad Cromwell (Neil Young, Mark Knopfler, Vince Gill), bassist Jimmy Earl (Chick Corea/The Jimmy Kimmel Show) and Carey Frank (Derek Trucks Band) to create a recording that emits the sound of today with the feeling of yesterday.
